The Address

Not any old address but THE ADDRESS at Downtown Dubai with the Burj Khalifa as its neighbour!

This is a prestigious 5* hotel, 306 metres high, 63 floors above ground level, 4 floors below ground level, started in 2005 and finished in 2008 at a cost of $197,000,000!

It boasts the best French restaurant in town and a five teired infinity pool overlooking the fountains at Dubai Mall.

Taken at dusk as the lighting all changed, the sky makes for a dramatic backdrop as the building lights up!!!!

GK and I were on a mission to the electronics store with a quick stop for dinner at the Orchestra restaurant! Quick?....not really...there was a musical interlude with a saxophonist which made it impossible to leave before coffee and dessert! She was amazing....Vera from Russia....It was like a private audience as most people do not dine early! Then in came a tour group and boosted the applause a hundredfold!

Great evening, totally relaxed and amazingly traffic free roads for some obscure reason!

Weekend.....yippee!
