If you're following the news and social media you'll have heard about the teenage girls abducted in Nigeria. It enrages me that it has taken weeks to get the story on to the news agenda and the use of the hashtagged phrase is really an effort to ensure it doesn't slip off the agenda.

I hope it aldo encourages everyone to use accurate language. They're not going to become 'child brides'. They are being threatened with rape, assault and slavery.
