**Just** an ordinary Edinburgh Day

Never, ever take your home city for granted. And when it's this beautiful, you want to share it.

I was on my way to John Lewis's this morning, parked at Craigwell Cottage and scaled the path up the side of Calton Hill. It was so beautiful I just kept going, taking the roadway up and arriving at the top where views like this awaited me.

A couple of weeks ago I met some Edinburgh people who had never climbed Calton Hill. What are you waiting for??? It's on the way to the shops... sort of.
