"Bleak"

Weather wise, I think that the best word to describe today's offering is, "Bleak."
By mid-afternoon I still hadn't taken any potential blips for today, so I decided to hold out until sunset ... To be fair, I needn't have bothered ... Here is a "bleak" picture taken on L'Ancresse Bay at around sunset ... :o|

It's "Liberation Public Holiday" tomorrow, to celebrate May 9th, 1945 ... the date that Guernsey was liberated from German occupying forces during WWII ... Let's hope the weather improves for this celebratory annual event, most of which takes place outdoors ...

Some of us, of course, still have to work ... but life is still so much quicker and easier delivering laundry in fine weather ... and the quicker the job gets done ... the quicker we can all go home ... :o)
