My parents
I've been reminded by some conversations I've had with friends over the past few weeks of the importance of getting photographs of friends and family. Fortunately, these conversations have not been prompted by any particular loss, just a realisation that its important to do it sooner rather than later and the fear (if that's the right word) of the regret that once its too late, then you've lost the chance. Don't be the one that says - damn, I shoulda done that.
Although my family knows I wield a camera about the place, they've never really been subjected to it themselves. That made these shots harder to get. But it was worth it.
