Distracting

Sitting outside to study can be distracting - I'm sitting with a hot drink, absorbing the sun, not listening to the girls behind me discuss what to do about a stalker, trying to read about different models of colonial growth. I wonder if I should go inside, if I'd be more productive at my desk.

Then I look up at the bright blue sky, hear the birds singing in their trees, smell the crisp autumn in the air and know that I'm going to stay just here for a just a little longer.
