First photo on my second new phone! Had to swap the other. Which meant a nice but brief meet up with baby Keira and her mummy.

Katie and I had plans for a picnic in the park today but Katie was of the opinion it was going to rain so we took it home. She had maybe ten minutes playing in the garden while I set an indoor picnic. Then it absolutely poured down.

We then dashed into town and sorted the phone, making an obligatory bakery stop after. Katie then had assessment week at swimming. Bless her heart it wasn't her best week. I expected her to stay in this grade a wee while longer as it's notorious for being a fairly long one, but there was no question today whether she would!

Our friends dropped us home where we had a "Tuesday on Wednesday" kinda tea time- granny and grandad were there! She was very excited to show them two books that she learnt to read today. At bedtime she wanted me to find her another book she could read and grinned the whole time.
