LOTR country

Drove up to Wanaka today through Middlemarch. It's an extraordinary barren landscape of schist rock ,perfect it seems for the Lord Of The Rings film makers. The autumn colours through the Ida Valley were stunning,Blipping marvellous in fact, but decided to stick with the rock today.
