Roadtrip to Double Point

Up slightly earlier than I could have been as I said I would meet Robyn down at the hostel so she could bring her stuff up to my apartment. When Duncan arrived I went to grab the boys surf boards to load then into the truck. Grabbed the wrong one though so had to take it off the top of the car! Boys finally finished eating breakfast and we then headed off. Went to 7 eleven to get our 1 dollar coffees. Bought one for Dunc...not quite the same coffee as he makes at home! We then went to pick up Char as she had slept in and missed her alarm. So on our little road trip there was Char, Robyn, Kris, Rob, Rolph, Duncan and me. Huge queue having to wait to get on the little ferry to the other side of the island. Drove all the way up Teewah beach and crossed over the other side to rainbow beach. Absolutely whacked my head on top of the car when we were driving over rocks! The surf at double point was absolutely incredible. Had a lot of fun on my board. The picnic I brought along consisted of Nutella, peanut butter, loaves of bread and masses of other rubbish things that were on sale in Coles. We all had to suddenly pack up as the tide had come in quite far so drove back along the beach. Stopped off at a bar. They wouldn't serve me because I had no shoes which was a little annoying. There was a huge inflatable trampoline they we bounced all of the little innocent children off!
Had a sauna with Kris, drank pear cider and out some in the coal bit instead of water so the whole sauna smelt of pear cider. Joe didn't join us which was classic of him! Watched pitch perfect with Kris, such a good film! Went out to KB's for my last night and then went to rolling rock. It was a fun night!
