Day 13 - Would 'ja please?

This taken on the trail at mile 6 with 5 to go. We were dropped off on the east side of the canyon to hike up to the plateau across it -and back down to the famous canyon I have been showing here. And then to camp.

A stupendous day. Tom's leg made it and no worse for wear. The sun just rose this morning after shedding light on these rosy walls. Oh glory be!

The wildflowers yesterday were something as were rock color and formations. Gads we love this place. I was giddy all day. And today I head into the narrow so up the river where it narrows and walls are high. Heading off now to rent my staff and proper shoes. This is solo as not a good place for T.
