Ants

I spent a bit of time in the park today. I had my macro gear with me and took lots of pics.. This was my favourite. I saw this scenario a few times. Two soldier ants with giant mandibles locked together. I'm not really sure what the story is with that. Maybe some blipper can tell me. Which ever way you look at it, I think the pic came out well.. This is by no means the full size. The two ants took up the whole frame on the camera. I got reallllly close
