Women's Tour

I took a long lunch break today to go and pick up Mum so we could catch the Women's Tour as it passed through Thorpe. The leaders and the peloton were bunched together so it was real blink-and-you-miss-it action. We were positioned right by the sprint finish line, and saw Marianne Vos just snatch the win. She then went on to win the Stage. It's the first time the Women's Tour has visited Essex, I hope it'll be back.

I'm doing the Tour de Tendring on Sunday; the same route as the final stage of the Women's Tour, but will be much further down the road than the pros!
