Willow goes to a wedding

Willow is my friend Linda's horse, and yesterday was invited to perform wedding duties by taking the bridegroom to his civil ceremony at the Mairie, which is the compulsory part of any wedding here in France.
Apparently he had promised the bride a surprise on her wedding day, and as she had dreamt of a knight on a white charger, he decided, on the spur of the moment, an hour before the ceremony, that this was to be his surprise!
The bride cried.
Round two of the wedding today was the church blessing, and again the bridegroom arrived on his white charger. The bride watched him arrive in the village centre from her car (as he was a little late) the bridesmaid had a little sit on the horse, and the bride cried again!
