Police Scotland Day 39, year 2 - multi-tasking!

CONSTABLE-TURNED-ASSISTANT REF MAKES HISTORY

It’s an exciting end to the football season for Police Scotland constable Kylie McMullan, who will make history on Saturday by becoming the first specialist female assistant referee to ever take the field in a SPFL Scottish Premiership match.

Kylie, who is based at Bellshill police office, will be the specialist assistant referee 2 for St Mirren’s home fixture against Hearts – the final league fixture for both teams this season.
