Ne'er cast a clout till May be out

Finally the Hawthorne flowers have opened and they look great, I'm never sure about the smell though!

I know there are all sorts of way of interpreting this old English phrase but I always think of it as keeping your warm clothes at the ready until the Hawthorne bush is in flower, I know some think take it as the Month of May, either way it's a fine old phrase!
