Why I like walking in the park

On Mondays and Fridays, weather permitting, I walk through Stromovka Park to get to Vltavska Metro station. It takes me a few minutes longer than walking along the roads, but it's definitely more pleasant. Today I saw this little chap. I hadn't really thought about the boxes in the trees, and if I thought of them at all, I guessed they were for birds. I don't know who puts the food in them, but this fellow was enjoying his breakfast. The only wild life I see when I walk along the streets is dogs. Oh and, of course, people. The park is a great way to start the day and worth shortening my sleep for.
