Peek-A-Box

This, my friends, is Peek-A-Box otherwise known as a shoebox diorama with peep hole.

One of the reception children made it at home and brought it in for show and tell.

It's basically a shoe box with a scene stuck inside, a small hole in the end to look through and a section of the lid removed and covered with tracing or grease proof paper to let the light in.

It's amazingly simple but really effective. I can only find instructions for a christmas one online but here's a link in case you find yourself at a loose end this weekend ;)

It's all go for us, with the Linton Children's Book Festival this weekend but first a glass of something cold and a curry. Have a good one!!
