Peony

The bottom of the back garden is a mess. Last weekend G. and I spent some time starting to clear up in advance of our midsummer party next month, and we unearthed this fantastic peony coming into flower. It is an amazing colour and I think we'll have 8 or 9 blooms. The only bad news is that we can't see it from the house. May have to get more garden chairs ... and hope for sunshine and warmth to sit out in!
