O My Ladies Peony
O my Ladies Peony so open hearted
please take care for any sudden rush
of Aeolus wild stormy dancing turn for
all through the valley he is making swift
advances, blowing up fresh flower skirts.
Take care my Peonies, you eastern
Highness’ so serene in tender pink, try
to avoid the calling of those blasting
arms, for in his rude embrace he is
out to tear your seedy core apart.
Such is his cruel old time will to lash
and scourge the fragile treasures of
your open heart, so please keep closed
your lilac lips and turn away your hips,
before the tyrant tears them into rips.
