year ago today our skinny, timid hound arrived to become part of the family.

Here she is looking somewhat damp as she has just been frolicking in the boating lake with a springer spaniel. Then she ran off leaving me to look extremely incompetent in front of the immaculately behaved spaniel's owner. Running across the park in wellies yelling at a dog that's 100 yards away and doing about 30 mph (the dog not me) is not a good look.

Mr kagsy is off on a junket conference in Portugal for 3 days - the dog will be on the bed like a rat up a drainpipe. I think she is knows she's on to a good thing.
