Bluebells at Ashridge
These are perhaps the most famous bluebells in Britain, certainly the most photographed. They carpet the woods on the National Trust's Ashridge estate in Hertfordshire. Hubby and I had an unforgettable day today with Hannah, Ed and Stella, with a visit to Woburn Abbey and gardens, then home via the Chilterns, and Ashridge. The forecasted rain did not arrive, instead we had blue skies and an archetypal English Spring day. Lovely!
