Jammies and Cereal

We celebrated Christmas Eve by attending an early-afternoon "candlelight" service at church and sharing a raclette meal with some of our extended family. Then we enjoyed our "open-one-present: new-pajamas" tradition and this year, my sister-in-law added a new element: A & E also each got to open a second present, which was a box of sugary cereal to eat for breakfast on Christmas morning. Since they usually have to eat the boring stuff we keep on hand like Cheerios and Chex, they were both completely thrilled with their Lucky Charms and Cookie Crisp! After setting out cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for the reindeer, it was off to bed . . .
