Tadpoles

Having looked earlier this year for frogs' spawn and never found any, it was a real surprise to see loads of tadpoles in the two tarns on the moor. We also saw ducklings and baby coots, (cootlings?). The coot family had a glorious nest amongst the willow branches that dipped into the water.
