They weren't really - I had to do that.

We took the monsters to a kids birthday party this afternoon.
Hats off to the lads mother ......loads to eat and drink - all sorts of home baking to deal with various allergies and intolerances - games (inside and out) -lots of mess and noise.......................
And she is doing it all again for family!

I took possession of another camera today thanks to somebody on flea-bay.
An excellent price for a brand new (all bar 258 shutter actuations) GF1.
Now I need to make up my mind if I am going to have this one or my old one converted for infra-red photography.
Either way it is going to cost a damned site more that this camera cost me.
