Friday: Ban Jelacic Square

Have I ever shown you a picture of the main square?  Well, this is part it.  It is pretty much in the centre of town and is a popular meeting point, with its various cafes and nearby bars.  It is completely pedestrianised too, which is nice.  And a meeting was exactly the reason I was there today too.

I am very glad it is the weekend but I suspect we all are!  

I read an article today that said that there was a growing trend amongst young Chinese of keeping cabbages as pets.  

One report , though, suggested that it was a piece of performance art that had been misunderstood.  Pity, I sort of wanted the cabbages story to be true.......
