if only we had...

...stayed in bed! First our van slid on the ice (thanks to the lack of snow clearance, but don't get me started on that) and then just attaching the van to the car to give a tow was enough to set the car sliding (still in gear & handbrake on). Luckily a rock has stopped it from landing in the neighbors garden and crushing Mr DJ while was behind the car at the time.
Unlucky and lucky at the same time it was not worse :-(
