Friends!

Dot, Alastair and Ann are in town for the Grand Prix. I invited them to the top of the town this morning to enjoy the panoramic view over Barcelona and see where I work sometimes. We then walked all the way home through Sarria visiting our old street before a lazy lunch on the patio, some business calls for me and a night visit to the Magic Fountains which culminated with the Mercury-Caballe rendition of 'Barcelona'! Dot, Ann and I were in the same class at university and Alastair, Ann's husband, is the recently retired Chief Executive of Highland Regional Council, and now one of the Trustees of the National Galleries of Scotland. I have a shot to put on for yesterday on the big cam which also is of them so this commentary is really the forward story for that back blip, if you get my drift!

So very nice to spend time with good friends...we don't get the chance often. Dd was missed.
