Rosie - the Dachshund

They are also called 'Wiener Dog' here in the US and many people like them, there are even quite funny Wiener Dog Races.
Rosie belongs to my friend Ursula and is a real personality - a very nice and often funny dog. What amazes me is the shortness of her little legs in relation to her quite enormous chest. I think the chest hangs barely one and a half inch above the ground.

It was another mostly rainy day, spent with friends indoors and dogs outdoors in between the showers. I enjoyed the company, the visit and especially my little model of today.
