Scott Monument

OK, a very boring and obvious blip. In a strange ratio. It is the monument to Sir Walter Scott on Princes St, and if you are mad, you can climb to the top.

Apart from the lack of blips (I took 30 or so of a coot on the Water of Leith, but with the dark grey cloud, nothing was good enough), today was quite a triumph. I managed to persuade M to come into town to buy clothes for herself!!
Of course, she ended up buying nothing; but she was very brave going at all, and she barely whimpered at the ordeal.
