Number 139

Today three of us were in Canberra for under 11's rugby at The Marists College in Pearce, kick off was 9.30am so we left home at 6.20am.
Floss is still in Queensland this weekend & J is staying with friends nearby.
Tomorrow everyone is playing soccer but in different locations an hours drive apart. I'll have to raffle someone off.
Anyway the blip, taken in Braidwood this afternoon on the way home. Braidwood is 60kms inland from the coast, it has a population of approx 1,200. The town was first settled by Europeans in 1820 & surveyed in 1839. In 1851 gold was discovered & all hell broke out, the population swelled to 10,000. The prosperity lasted several years, during this time a lot of construction took place.
Braidwoods streetscape is largely unchanged & in 2006 the town was listed on the NSW State Heritage Register, as a result it's a popular film location.
Number 139 looks like it could do with some TLC.
PS. Broulee Dolphins 74 & Marists 0, as the result shows it was a complete miss match, our little lad scored his first try so that was cool. To be honest I think today everyone got to score a try.
