Feeding the Birds

I found myself back in the city today, ticked off that list left over from yesterday and had a great coffee at Gelato's.

This happy little group was being spotlighted and warmed by the sun just before it dropped behind the World Trade Centre building for the night.
The three black swans, made almost indiscernible by the shining, shadowy waters, glided over the river and joined the flock of gulls that had gathered around the old man, who was happily sharing his afternoon tea.
