Delayed post

I had to visit the Leatherhead mail sorting office this morning. A note was put through my door saying that they were holding a card for me which needed more postage paid. What a performance for 11p.
The card had been expected because my lovely family were very disappointed when it hadn't arrived for my birthday ten days ago. It is a beautiful card but it was all the trimmings that caused the problem, being bulky enough to qualify for the "large letter" tarriff. They will know next time!
