Baby gates acquired.
Dining room gate up - now the cat food and litter are safe from little fingers and mouths
Bottom of stairs is also gated up which is a pain but at least it'll stop them getting into anymore trouble.
We haven't put them on the top of the stairs or their room just yet but no doubt they'll need to go up sooner rather than later.
