Going Local

I try wherever possible to buy most things from local traders and that is no exception for my glasses. Being a Diabetic I have to have them checked once a year and it was no surprise today that again I needed new glasses but this being caused more by age than diabetes.

Not being a shopper I stand there in front of my dearest trying on this frame and that frame nodding at what I hoped was the right point although I did venture a negative at the tortoise shell frames. Then came lenses. Do you want this tint that material and again the nodding started until my dearest was happy. I mean I am never going to see myself in them.

Oh and I apologise for the car reflection in the window. I mean it is not like an optician would have one in his shop. Unless he forgot his glasses.
