Busy bee

I've been busy too.

I can't believe the amazing prices at the New Farm shop just outside Lichfield. Two punnets of delicious strawberries (allegedly for jam) for 50p each. Nearly a kilo of wonderful asparagus for £2.

Made some jam (well, if it doesn't set, it can be coulis....)
Made some muffins (strawberry ones using the Mary Berry blueberry muffin recipe which I hope works as well)

Thinking about making some asparagus soup - but the asparagus won't disintegrate as fast as the strawberries might have.

The weather can't make up its mind.
Glorious blue, but blustery
Then a downpour.....
