Double Indigo

I woke at 5 a.m. thinking about the job ahead, and by 6:15 I was burning brush by our lake.

After two cups of coffee and 4 hours of emptying, sorting, burning and hauling, Al and I took time for breakfast, and this was our reward!!

Not one, but a pair of Indigo Buntings at the bird feeders today!!!

Now back to the shoreline...thankfully one of our neighbors wanted to fix up the old pontoon, so it has found a new home!!!
