Harlech Castle

It will be nice when it is finished.

The wet weather held off long enough for a bit of a wander. On entering the Castle we were advised that it was too windy and therefore dangerous to walk along the battlements.

I liked the gruesome statue of Bendigeidfran whose story is summarised here.

We then went on to Barmouth/Abermaw to find a pub for lunch. The first one we tried was very much closed.
