You either love it or you hate it......

I have been admiring the still life shots on here since I joined. I have been looking into soft boxes and lighting to have a go myself but I dont know enough about it and they seem either very expensive or worryingly cheap (ergo no go?)

Today I decided to give it a try with what I had to hand, a sheet of A4 and my cooker hood lights!

I was realy surprised with the results, quite cool! I know that there is too much reflection and a lot of flare (not sure if this is a technical term) at the bottom of the shot, but a pleasing result non the less.

Any advice on cost efective kit that I should be using would be very welcome! x
