Ruffled swan

Well it ended up being quite a pleasant day, not at all as forecast! Did have rain overnight and about 3 short heavy showers but the rest of the time it has been quite sunny but very windy. C. at work so went out for a walk early, caught in the rain. Then went to the Christian Aid coffee morning, met a friend, bought some plants and a jigsaw puzzle. Popped in to see mum, saw Ali and Dave and then went for another long walk this afternoon which is when I took this shot. I'd been sitting on the bank by the reeds and don't think the swan realised I was there so took lots of shots (put another one on blipfolio country walks) it kept dipping its head and coming up with a mouthful and was heading against the wind. Best large.
