HV walking in the woods

Thankfully, my beautiful girl is feeling a bit better today. We had a slow start to the day, then the morning was filled with household chores. The dogs pestered us, demanding a walk. We gave in to the demands just as the heavens opened. Waterproofs were donned and we headed out. Miraculously, the rain went off and we had a pleasant wander.
This fungus caught my eye as I stood looking at the fresh new leaves on the trees. HV had wandered off in front of me. It is only a quick snap on the mobile phone because I left the camera at home since it was raining SO hard when we left the house....
