The new hat

Here is my friend Anne with her birthday flowers and her birthday hat.

Anne often wears a hat and has a large number of hats in all sorts of styles. She had watched the film 'The Artist' when it was on television recently and asked for a neat little cloche to add to her collection for her birthday.

I thought she looked très elegant in her new chapeau.

It's been a busy day - driving Anne through to Edinburgh to collect paintings, moving into Freckle-and-Lottie's, walking the dogs, driving back to Anne's to return her car keys which I had mistakenly taken away with me, and now I'm off to feed and spend the evening with Pookie and Monty.
