Today we walked 15 12 miles. We started at Runswick Bay and when we got to Sand's End (1st picture) we cheated had a brilliant idea and caught the bus to Whitby. It poured with rain just after this picture was taken and we missed it all as we were on the bus!
After that we walked on and had such varied weather that I thought some of the sky pictures would illustrate that well. We did get caught in one torrential rain shower but it was not all bad as it kept the horrendous plague of flies away. I have never seen so many flies there were swarms of them and they were all over us :-(
We arrived at the B and B in sunshine and are going out for a meal soon.
