To brighten the day!

After a hard day in Bogota - getting soaked twice in sudden downpours, losing my way so that it took me over 2 hours in the crowded transmilenio for a 30 minute journey and missing my friends and family - two things gave me a big smile! A student from our Spanish class brought us in some famous toasted Colombian ants to sample!! The are dry and crispy!!! And then I arrived home and these beautiful flowers were awaiting me!
