Good morning sunshine

I looked out on this at 7.16 this morning and decided not to go for a run. Instead we got up and had breakfast then headed off to a local market (without nana) and bought some lovely fresh fruit & veg, oh, and a Thomas the tank engine book! On the way back we stumbled on preparations for an 'international day' celebration in the town where flags from lots of countries were being displayed and stalls being set up to ofer work cuisine and a stage for local performers. After a play on the adjoining park we went back to tell Nana the news and then went back to see what was happening. We bought a coin purse for Mjniman and Indian pakoras and bhaji and popadoms to munch on... It's so hard to resist the smell of Indian food. We watched a local dance troupe & a guitarist & drummer then left to have a quick shandy at the local before coming back to home made salads & asparagus in garlic butter with patatas bravas for lunch followed by an afternoon in and out of the pool.

I sit now with a red wine and pistachio nuts listening to the birds and the occasional passers by on their way for a night out. I may be here some time.
