Chickadee with cotton

This morning, this chickadee was picking away at a wad of cotton (from a bottle of medicine canister) I had put in the garden last week. It was busy yanking out bits of the fluffy stuff until it could barely see. Then it flew off to line its nest. It came back a little while later and dug into a wad of cat fur Linda had put out the same weekend for the same purpose. Yes, cat fur lining a chickadee nest! If Pumpkin only knew!
