When it pours look for rainbows.

It did pour but was rewarded with this beauty as I drove through Moretonhampsted on my way to Roadford Lake. I think I am hooked on getting out in my boat and today was just exhilarating! It was extremely windy out on the lake today and there was a definite lack of other people around but my friends and I decided to go for it! Staying close to the beach was calm however exploring further afield meant crossing a fairly wide inlet which was choppy but not too bad. The return was a completely different story! The wind hit us head on and at points pushed you backwards despite paddling with all your might! The waves were splashing over the deck - just awesome! Love it!
