Spaghetti Carbonara (alla Giles)

As you may have gathered from this week's posts, I have rediscovered my enjoyment for cooking. I had forgotten how relaxing I find it. It might be something to do with my stereo being back in the same room as my kitchen. The 110 disc CD on shuffle: Meatloaf, followed by The Penguin Cafe Orchestra, followed by Bruno Mars, followed bt David Arnold's version of the Bond theme tune. I have to say, if I had been served this in an Italian restaurant, I would not have been disappointed.
