Gobbling starlings

I bought some new bird food with some dried meal worms in it and the starlings love it.
Did some more gardening today and had the Robins and Blackbirds following me around.
My Mum asked me why I don't just continue along one side of the garden at a time, I said because the birds don't really like me working in the same area they are so I have to split it up in bits here and there. It also makes me feel I HAVE to get the gardening done this way.
