Keskadale

Up in the Lakes for the Buttermere Sailbeck Fell Race today. This taken looking down Keskadale from Newlands Hause.

Ian completed this 'medium' fell race of 9.5 miles and 4,300ft of climbing along with the other fellrunners in pretty poor conditions, low visibility and constant rain, although it wasn't very cold. I, in the meantime, joined a few friends in the tea room in Buttermere and had a lovely time enjoying hot chocolate and scones with jam and cream. Well someone's gotta do it : )

Called in at the Rheged centre on the way home to see the exhibition of mountain photos - well worth a visit if you're around tomorrow. Hugely talented fellow blipper clickychick being one of the contributors and a lovely lady to boot : )
