Birthday Curry Night

Having spent the previous day preparing and cooking a selection of Indian food (completely vegan) today seemed like a relative rest day. Indias twenty first birthday celebrations. All of the family, a few neighbours and friends came around for a feast of spices. Stuffed bananas were a real winner with corn on the cob in a rich onion sauce closely following. But the real winner was a rich chocolate cake made with vinegar, oil and dark chocolate - a sort of sticky toffee pudding in chocolate form. A good night was had by all.
